SPL and CFA Collaboration

Within the scope of the actions of the Istanbul International Financial Center Program; our Company have an agreement with CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Institute that has been renewed and continued since 2015 in order to increase the qualified human resources to carry the capital markets of our Country forward and support the personnel of regulatory authorities and bodies operating in financial markets to have internationally valid certificates.

Based on the agreement; for the following certificate examinations

  • CFA and
  • CIPM

an overall scholarship quota (60 per institution for CFA exams and 10 per institution for CIPM exams in total) has been assigned for each year which can be used within the period starting on September 1st and ending on July 31st for each of the authorities responsible for regulation and supervising the financial sector of our Country as

  • Republic of Turkey Ministry of Treasury and Finance,
  • Capital Markets Board of Turkey,
  • Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey,
  • Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency,
  • Turkish Court of Accounts
  • Savings Deposit Insurance Fund and
  • Türkiye Wealth Fund

and in this context, the employees of the aforementioned institutions are supported in the following areas:

  • Waived "Enrollment fee” and discounted registration fee for CFA certificate exams
  • Discounted registration fee for CIPM certificate exams.

In order to apply the relevant certificate exams, the candidates who work at the Republic of Turkey Ministry and Finance, Capital Markets Board of Turkey, Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, Turkish Court of Accounts and Savings Deposit Insurance Fund

  • Must have a valid passport

and should meet at least one of the following requirements:

  • Having a bachelor's degree or the selected exam date range is at least 11 months before the graduation date for the bachelor's degree (Bachelor's diploma must be obtained before registering for the Level 2 exam).
  • Having at least 4,000 hours of work experience (not necessarily in finance) and/or a combination of higher education level education, acquired in a minimum of 3 consecutive years, by the registration date of the Level 1 exam.

On the other hand, CFA Program exams are only offered in English. Exams require English proficiency for reading comprehension and formulating answers to complex financial scenarios.

Scholarship application must be made before registering for the exam, and no registration should be made before the scholarship application is finalized.

Those who work in these institutions and wish to benefit from the scholarship should submit their application requests to our Company through their own institutions.
